Cooper Tire
Despite being one of America’s oldest tire and rubber manufactures, Cooper Tire didn’t have a specific messaging point that they could uniquely own.
As long as their tires are relatively safe and not too expensive, most drivers do not have a preference on what brand they buy. To appeal to this mindset, Cooper Tire needed to become the brand customers could “trust” to get them from point A to point B without driving up the cost (pun definitely intended).
Like Michelin stands for “safety” and Goodyear is “the racing tire”, we positioned Cooper Tire as the tire to go to when “tires matter”.
