Laughing Skull Amber Ale
Laughing Skull is an amber ale made at Red Brick Brewing Co., but is mostly served at a restaurant in Atlanta called The Vortex. Outside the brewery and the restaurant, Laughing Skull is rarely purchased.
To get more people in Atlanta to consider Laughing Skull, we created a “cult following” around the city.
We literally started a cult in Atlanta that was based on worshipping Laughing Skull Amber Ale, while also completely denying its existence. Because that's what cults do, right?
We’re not a cult. We’re seriously not. We’re simply a group of consenting adults casually partaking in a shared tradition that involves quasi-religious rituals and socially deviant practices contingent on a set of novel beliefs that are not technically unlawful, frowned upon or discouraged by any established federal department of the United States Government or by any sovereign states recognized by the United Nations. So stop asking if we’re a cult. Okay?
